MINNEAPOLIS – April 12, 2018 – Agile Frameworks™, the leading provider of collaborative, cloud-based corporate, field, and lab information management enabling Profitable Engineering™ for the engineering services and construction sector, today announced that its CEO Bob Tuttle will moderate a panel at the upcoming ACEC Annual Convention and Legislative Summit, which runs April 15-18, 2018.
The panel titled, “Solving the Data Conundrum: How AEC Firms are Innovating with Technology and Leveraging Their Data,” is scheduled for Monday, April 16, from 4-5:15 p.m. Industry executives participating on the panel include Markus Weidner, chief innovation officer of Pennoni, and Dr. Gary Pasquarell, vice president, quality and technical training of Froehling & Robertson, Inc.
The panel will discuss the technology journey to achieve automated data collection and its resulting benefits, new innovations and programs ahead to further leverage data collection, and aspirations for leveraging data in the future. As an early adopter of field data collection and lab for Construction Materials Testing, Froehling & Robertson’s Pasquarell will speak about lessons learned, while Pennoni’s Weidner will address the firm’s use of sensor data and real-time monitoring.
The ACEC Annual Convention and Legislative Summit takes place every spring in Washington, D.C. at ACEC’s new headquarter hotel, the Marriott Wardman Park. Over 1,400 representatives attend educational sessions, congressional appointments and the prestigious Engineering Excellence Awards Gala.
